Our story
Led by founder Stephen Tupper, TupperS Law was established in 2015. After a 30-year career as a competition lawyer and partner in Big Law firms across Europe, New York/Washington DC, and the UK, Stephen had grown disenchanted with the conventional law firm model. But his passion for competition law and fighting the good fight remained. So, he decided to create something new.
What mattered most was the ability to undertake meaningful work, not the size of the client. TupperS Law was founded to establish a practice with complete independence, allowing the team to apply a laser-focus on competition law and deliver exceptional work in the most cost-effective way possible.
In recent years, TupperS Law has drawn in like-minded competition law practitioners. Although we’ve grown, what remains unchanged is the client-centric focus of our practice and our commitment to providing excellent, cost-effective advice.
In addition to our client work, the team is instrumental in orchestrating the Competition Pro Bono Scheme; providing clarity and direction so that every individual and business can source expert advice. Created by Stephen in the early 2000’s, the Scheme won a Law Society “Excellence” award in 2008. Today, we’re an award-winning Firm: honoured with the title of Best Competition Law Firm in 2020.
